Landscaping

Another great task being undertaken at both Shepherdswell and Eythorne is landscaping of the environs.For many years there was simply not enough time nor manpower to really do this justice although the Thursday Gang always kept the Eythorne site tidy.This year however due to a group of volunteersJeff,Jody,Rob,Margaret,Callum(Shepherdswell) and the Thursday Gang(Eythorne ) both sites have seen extensive re-planting of borders and tubs to create a really beautiful display.The grass areas at both sites have seen regular mowing and strimming thanks to Jeremy and Clive and the effect is a grand first impression for all the railways visitors.Well done to all those who have got involved and below is shown a few pictures which hopefully do their work justice.
